I have tried to put the burden of Global Warming to the environment but it always comes back to US (not the U.S. but us). Here’s another nail in that coffin and it tells me we got to move on this NOW! Here is the summary of that article that hopefully shuts up the naysayers and get over the complaints about the need for alt energy including nuclear.
Sun1 Last week I blogged here about the lack of evidence that cosmic rays cause global warming. Now another argument against human-created global warming has been found lacking: that the Sun’s increasing energy output is raising temperatures here on Earth.
Yes, for a large part of the 20th century, energy output from the Sun was on increase, but then in 1985 that trend turned around and has been on the decline ever since. For example, the cosmic rays that could be generating clouds that cool the planet have been on the increase since 1985. In other words, with all these additional cosmic rays, we should have more cloud cover and a cooler planet. The Earth’s magnetic field that shields us from cosmic rays reached its maximum in 1987, and has been decreasing ever since. And the Sun’s energy output is going in the opposite direction of what you would predict should be happening to raise temperatures.
