Changes in India are helping India. The quaint system that used to considered a road system are being updated to accommodate the increasing needs of business. I took a trip from Delhi to Agra and spent nearly 4 hours having my liver beaten to a pulp. Very interesting trip to be sure with cows and other forms a wildlife running about and generally creating a traffic menace. All of that to be replaced with ’super highways’. Good and bad in my honest opinion, sometime you need to stop and smell the cow manure.

A reader of my site, a Mr. Amit ‘Netahoy’ Agarwal, posted a very positive comment on my Intro entry in my India sub-blog. He reported that the city government of Delhi has taken steps to improve the air quality of Delhi. I am very pleased at this news. I have many fond memories of my visit to that city but the air quality was not one. I hope to return someday with my girlfirend (wife?) in tow. It’s a very different place with many pleasant surprises at every turn. Please take a look at the photos and decide on your own holiday there. Thank you Amit.

I just read something on Bloomberg I thought was interesting. The after effects of the bombing are starting to have a measurable effect. People have cancelled their Bali holidays and are flocking to other SE Asia holiday spots. It’s good to see that people are getting over the fear of terrorists but the people of Bali need those tourism dollars more than ever.

I watched the television in amazement at the carnage and devastation caused by the bomb blast of 2002/20/12. I could not believe that this would happen on such a place as Bali. Bali is a very spiritual place with a body of inhabitants that welcome the world with open arms and friendly smiles. I offer my condolences to the families that lost someone dear to them on this day. I also ask the world not to blame the people of Bali, this was the work of outsiders using the popularity of Bali to foreigners to strike at their perceived enemies. The attackers are a people of hate and use that hate to spread fear. I hope they will be brought to fair justice and that innocent people don´t pay for those justices with they´re lives.
