You’ve got a friend

I’ve gotten permission from my wife, Makoto Vazquez, to post her version of the song “You’ve got a friend” written and originally performed by James Taylor. The recording quality isn’t very good after all I did it. She has other songs she does well but I like this version best and I hope you all will too. BTW if I’m breaking copyright please write me (no email) and I’ll remove it. The mailing address can be found on right sidebar.
Continue to hear the amazing talent of Mako

Indie911 :: Idiom of Sad

Indie911 :: Idiom of Sad

I happened on this after reading a Wired article that spoke about instead of the RIAA suing people into submission that should use their back catalogue and remaster the favorites and sell them to be used in better music playing devices. There was a link to an indie d¥site that sells better recordings of indie songs. I can now say that the best music payer on my computer is my web browser FireFox. It sounds great, go to the site and find your favorite genre of music. I link to my surperficial search that turned something great.

Public Domain : smartly adventurous

I have had a chance to fully listen but what I heard so far propels to listen more, which is more than I can say for recordland (meaning the hated RIAA). I found this site that gets around the RIAA but offering the music free to those that want to listen. There’s always an option to contribute to the artists efforts without making those fat cats richer then they already are. The url for Jamendo is Jamendo.com, check them out.

When I first downloaded this album I was asked for a two word description, I came up with “smartly adventurous” and I stand by that.
