The problem in grown the palm oil the local ecology is thrown out of wak bu the damage caused by growing the crop on a large commercial scale. I remember reading an article (forget where) about building a tall building and growing in the building. Seems to me a perfect fit, build the structure where is warm/hot, use automation to take care of the plants, harvest and convert into bio-diesel in the same structure. What goes in is compost for fertilizer and what comes is is liquid gold (or energy if you don’t like the analogy). I’m sure Bil Gates has a few billion dollars doing nothing.
